What is the Sustainability Charter?
The Charter for Sustainability is a voluntary commitment of whale watching companies and active tourism companies on the island of Tenerife, which offer a significant and transformative tourist experience for the client.
It is a project devised in 2018 and that has taken shape in 2020, in the midst of a health crisis derived from COVID-19.
Whale Watching
The members of this Charter for Sustainability want to promote the will of the whale watching sector in Tenerife, to maintain our profession and leave a living marine nature to future generations.
We want to contribute, as professionals committed to being the custodians of cetaceans, to promote Tenerife as a sustainable tourist space that positively impacts the local population and those who visit it.
Activities in the nature
A participatory project with active tourism companies on the island of Tenerife, whose main objective is to generate a differential offer with values generated from the search for excellence in the provision of services and a broad and transversal sustainability approach.
All this from a stable framework of collaborative work at the public-private level.
